The Worst Illinois GOP Chairman....Ever??

Take a close look at this gentleman.  He led our Republican party in Illinois until he decided to announce his resignation at the Illinois State Fair Republican day on August 20, 2009.  During his tenure, we had no REAL candidate aginst DICK (Town Hall Meeting Dodging) Durbin.  Madigan has increased his majority in the House and Senate AT WILL.  He resigned stating he had a record of raising funds and "developing a grass roots ground game"???    What Ground Game????  

This comes from the same idiot that used GOP funds to finance a poll for governor where his name just happened to be one of the candidates.  28 thousand dollars never approved by the state central committemen.  At the time of his resignation, he stated he was not running for office.  Yet a few months later, there he is, running for governor.
 Bottom line, when will we as Illinois conservatives take the extra steps, the extra hours, the estra efforts that will insure our leadership truly represents our will at the local, county, and state party leadership roles?  Until we do, we deserve what we get.  For now, that is a non-effective structure that will insure we will have no influence in state and local policy.
