A Rising Star

Albeit the Brady/Plummer ticket came up short in the November election, we must judge each candidate by his respective merits. I did a comparison of Brady vs. Plummer numbers in the February primary, and here is how they respectively compared in terms of votes garnered per certain jurisdictions:

CHICAGO COOK DUPAGE KANE LAKE MCHENRY WILL KENDALL
BRADY 5.42% 5.13% 5.59% 5.99% 5.70% 8.52% 6.75% 6.74%
PLUMMER 21.00% 23.62% 29.51% 25.53% 26.52% 34.51% 29.80% 35.17%

In every jurisdiction, Plummer, an upstart 27 year old candidate from downstate Illinois posted numbers than ran between 4 to almost 6 times the number of votes garnered by his eventual running mate. Why is this significant? The young upstart managed a far better campaign...simple enough.

This is EXACTLY the type of individual we need as a fresh and effective figure to lead our GOP into the future.
